CELEBRATE 60 YEARS TRAINING IN METEOROLOGICAL SECTOR
On 10th January 2015, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment jubilantly celebrate 60 years training in meteorological sector (January 10th, 1955 - January 10th, 2015). A thousand lectures former lecturers, students glad to meet and reviews the glorious memories of the sectors. Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Ngoc Thanh speak in the ceremony In 60 years develop and mature, meteorological department was and is training 45 intermediate course, and nearly 8000 students, 12 college courses, with nearly 1.400 students; 24 courses special training university with over 1000 students; 14 primary courses with thousands technicians and 4 courses formal universities, 2015 is the first course graduation University education. According to Nguyen Minh Tien – Deputy Dean of meteorology department, 2/3 members in the section, almost meteorology air force officers, civil aviation, more staff for transport sectors, agriculture, fisheries, …are staff training from meteorology department.

Many generation former university staffs join the ceremony Announcing in the ceremony, Dr Huynh Phu, Dean of meteorology said “Over 60 years of construction and development, inherited the traditional of the previous generation, the staff continue building the training career, is not satisfy with ourselves, will motivation building the development of training, always the trustful address for the member of training staff of meteorology department interaction, sharing experience and enthusiastic, support higher demand of meteorology sectors.” With all the achievement, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment also get the 3rd State Medal Labor award from the Government.
