On 25/09/2014 Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) joyfully and solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the New academic year 2014-2015.

HUNRE was greatly honored and delighted to welcome Assoc.Prof.Dr Bui Cach Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Representatives of the Departments, Institutes, General Departments - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Thanh Hai - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Mining and Geology; Representatives of companies and business agencies; Representatives of HUNRE students to congratulate HUNRE on the New Academic Year.

Traditional performances to welcome the new academic year

On behalf of HUNRE staff and students, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - President of HUNRE warmly expressed the joyfulness, happiness and excitement to welcome all the valued delegates to attend and share the joyful atmosphere of the opening day of the new academic year. President was also pleased to share with all the valued guests about the outstanding achievements of HUNRE in the past year and a strategic plan for the new academic year to bring up the higher quality of all the activities. He was congratulated the new students of HUNRE in the academic year 2014-2015. He was also highlighted the key orientations for the academic year 2014 - 2015 about the HUNRE’strategic development, fostering team building, facilities; to improve the content, programs and training methods; link training with practical and social needs; promote scientific research and International Cooperation,… After the opening speech, he has officially announced the new academic year 2014-2015.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Bui Cach Tuyen believed that with more than 55 year tradition of building and development, HUNRE will not stop development, more and more significant contribution, further excellence for the development of the whole sector and country in the new period. The Deputy Minister emphasized: Development of HUNRE based on 3 criteria: Training, Research and Social Service. He beat the drum to officially announced the new academic year 2014-2015.

At the opening ceremony, to praise and encourage students’ efforts for good learning achievements. On behalf of HUNRE, Vice President Pham Doan Mau was awarded and flowers for the seven top most outstanding-performance students in the entrance exam to be come HUNRE’ new students in the academic year 2014-2015.

With full energy and passion, all teachers, staff and students of HUNRE are willing to assert the efforts for the new goals set at the beginning of the academic year.
