Two Decisions prescribes in more detail and clearly the types of disasters and the level that needs forecasting, warning and transmitting. Besides, the disaster risk level is given in the warning; the issuance time of forecasts, warnings is earlier than the previous and the frequency also increases, about 1 hour / time.
The Decision No. 44/2014 on detailed regulations for disaster risk level has defined many different types of natural disasters such as tropical depressions, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, lightning, heavy rain, flash floods, floods, water level rise, salt water intrusion, hot weather, drought, harmful cold, hail, hoarfrost... This Decision including 19 articles stipulates detailed levels of disaster risk due to storms, floods, tropical depressions, earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural disasters.
The Decision No. 46/2014 on disaster forecasting, warning and transmitting including 38 articles provides details of the type of disaster which is forecasted, warned and transmitted; the issuance conditions and detailed content of the forecasts, warnings about storms, tropical depressions, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural disasters related to meteorology and hydrology, oceanography. These decisions have implementation effect from 1/10/2014.
