SEMINAR ON NEW RESEARCH DIRECTIONS IN NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS
On November 13, 2014, at the Great Hall, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) where held the seminar: "New research directions in natural resources and environment: Experiences from the research Group of University of Southern Denmark (SDU)". Chaired by Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - President of HUNRE.
Attendance at the seminar is more than 60 participants, including: The Representatives of Presidential Board, Department of Science-Technology and International Relations, Faculty of Environmental and Natural Resources Economics and the other participating Faculties, Departments. Especially the participation of Prof. Niels Vestergaard - Reporter of research Group of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Southern Denmark, Denmark.

This seminar, presented by Professor Niels Vestergaard, Management and Economics of Resource and The Environment (MERE), Centre of Fisheries & Aquacultural Management & Economics (FAME), University of Southern Denmark (SDU) reviewed and highlighted some themes and topics: new research directions in natural resources and environment; Climate change prevention and adaptation, Risk analysis, risk management and risk communication for natural resource and environmental issues; Ecosystem based management; Green growth, Invasive species and pest management, Population growth, climate change and agricultural water use,… Professor also introduce educational programs for economic and environmental resources at the University of Southern Denmark.
