On 11 and 12 May 2016, the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) organized the 1st International workshop on "Tropical landscape, environment management and global changes". The workshop was organized to strengthen the scientific research activities.
The Sixth Congress of the East Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAAERE) with the main theme: “Green Economy and Sustainable Development for All” which will be held at Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan, between August 7th and 10th in 2016.

Having been previously convened in each ofthe other world continents, the ISEG series will for the first time be held in Australasia. From 14th -16th July, 2015, at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) took place the workshop "Integrated management of water resources and environment" by the Project Management NICHE and Water Resources Faculty, HUNRE; Student and lecturer at the University of Tsukuba, Japan; University of Delft University of Technology, Netherlands; Water Resources University and the Ho chi minh University of Natural Resources and Environment.
Vietnam - Australia Sustainable Minning Development Workshop, held on 29th and 30th June 2015 in Hanoi, has attracted approximately 500 participants from throughout Vietnam and Australia on a number sides of the government, mining industries and universities.
On 12 May 2015, New Zealand Ambassador to Viet Nam, H.E. Mr Haike Manning will give a talk at the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment. Ambassador Manning will give an introduction to the beautiful country of New Zealand. The Ambassador will also discuss environmental issues, how New Zealand has gained an international reputation for its environmental and conservation management, and why New Zealand has been widely described as “clean, green and pure”.
