On 10th April, at Green One United Nations House; the Sweden Embassy, the United Nations and the Live & Learn Environment and Community Center held a ceremony to announce and launch 7-days challenge campaign for sustainable living.
Giving the symbol of campaign
The 07-days challenge campaign means within 07 days, participants are able to give sustainable and practical solutions that focus on three groups: EATING, MOVING AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING. This is an important and meaningful activity in order to promote the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as prepare towards Earth Day on 22nd April, 2018.
Mr. Pereric Högberg - Sweden Ambassador to Vietnam-during his speech
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the 7-day campaign, Mr. Pereric Högberg-Sweden Ambassador to Vietnam-said: "The purpose of this challenge is to raise awareness about choices in human lifestyle and the effect of these choices to the environment. Smart and sustainable lifestyle starts from you and me. Simple as do not use plastic if we can use other products"
Mr. Kamal Malhotra - United Nations Resident Coordinator to Vietnam-during his speech
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Kamal Malhotra-United Nations Resident Coordinator- said: "The goal of sustainable development requires lots of efforts, but if we can eat, move and live sustainably, we can make changes that contribute to achieving our goals".
