Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment: Exchange, vocational guidance for 6 high school students in Hanoi
On March 29th, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment (HUNRE) in collaboration with Organization and Personnel Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) held a meeting, exchange and vocational guidance for high school students in Hanoi. Mr. Ta Dinh Thi - Head of Organization and Personnel Department chaired the meeting. Also attending, leaders, representatives of General Departments, Departments, Institutes and nearly 300 students from six high schools in Hanoi include Xuan Dinh, Tay Ho, Dai Mo, Hoai Duc A, Van Xuan and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High Schools.
The vocational guidance activities will help students understand the profession; learn about themselves in order to choose their future profession a suit preferences, their abilities, family circumstances, social actual needs. At the same time, help them raise awareness about the environment and natural resources sector, understanding the needs of human resource development in the field of natural resources and the environment, thereby orient students to study and learn industries, specialized resources and environment sectors.
Exchange, vocational guidance for nearly 300 students in Hanoi
Report of the representatives from Organization and Personnel Department, MONRE at the meeting, showing career recruitment needs of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) sector is very large. As planned, in about 9 years from 2012 to 2020, NRE sector needs to recruit around 45,000 people, including 8,000 for the land sector; 10,000 people for the environmental sector; approximately 600 to 1,000 people in the field meteorological and climate change; about 3,000 people to the field of geology mineral; about 3,000 people in the field of water resources; 20,000 people in the field of sea and islands.
So to attract manpower to the industry, “training or retraining activities and using of human resources for natural resources and environment sector. It is important with their future work that they’ll choose” said by leaders of MONRE. On the other hand, raising awareness, strengthening in vocational guidance for high school students. They are both important task and solutions to contributes significantly for successful implementation of the human resources development goals of Natural Resources and Environment force.
Nearly 300 students from six high schools in Hanoi to interact and ask questions related to training, enrollment, employment opportunities of 8 fields of management by MONRE.
