Functions
1. Prepare the long-term development plan, the five-year plan and the annual plan of the Department and and submit it to the Rector
2. Participate in the development of strategies, policies, planning of the University.
3. Coordinate with the Training Department and related units to develop training programs for all levels.
4. Coordinate with the Training Department and other relevant units to implement the enrollment and graduation processes for all levels.
5. Prepare and implement teaching and learning plans, as well as assess learners' results at different language proficiency levels.
6. Compile textbooks for the Department's purposes of teaching, learning and scientific research as assigned by the Rector.
7. Conduct scientific research and carry out other scientific and technological activities; Apply, develop and transfer language teaching technology.
8. Participate in short-term training courses as assigned by the Rector.
9. Coordinate with other units in the school to manage HUNRE learners.
10. Propose some changes in personnel organization; and directly involve managing the Deparment's employees and assets in accordance with the school regulation and the law of Vietnam
11. Release statistics and periodical/ irregular report on how the assigned tasks are performed.
12. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Rector
