1. Function

Faculty of Marine Science and Island is a body under the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment to implement training works, scientific research related to seas and islands science.

2. Tasks

- Training: 

+ To build up program frames, subjects, composing lecture notes and specialized references

+ To establish the training programs and implementing in compliance with the university’s principles.

+ To elaborate the plan of personnel development efficiently, enhancing the lecturer capacities in teaching and scientific research.

- Scientific research:

+ To research and exchange the modern training methods.

+ To propose scientific research in marine science.

+ To conduct the scientific projects at all levels
