Dr. Sunil Herat is an expert on training programs in municipal solid waste management, hazardous waste management, cleaner production and eco-efficiency. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of waste management, in particular, issues and challenges related to developing economies.

At the meeting, the two partners had the brief introduction of each side. The two sides exchanged information and discussed the possibilities of field operations, developed cooperation in training, scientific research and human resource development for HUNRE.

In the afternoon of the meeting, Dr. Sunil Herat visited and worked with Faculty of Environment in many activities such as: researching and training cooperation. Next to that, this was a good chance for both sides to contribute the solid foundation to develop further cooperation in the educational area.
